Welcome to the official home of the Granite Brigade, a discipleship ministry of the Epsom Bible Church. 

During the days of the American Civil War, a Brigade was made up of between three to five regiments of about 1000 men each.  In turn these regiments were made up of 10 companies of about 100 men which came from various towns and villages in the soldier's home state.  Our five regiments make up what we call the "Granite Brigade".

The Granite Brigade had its beginnings in the year 2002 with just one regiment, the  56th NH Rangers.  We started small with just 6 regular members in that first year.  As the years continued we grew in numbers and young men graduating from the Rangers wanted to minister to the boys coming up behind them.  The 712th LSU had its start in 2005, giving these young men an opportunity to serve the younger boys.  The LSU has become a ministry to disciple the young men in Biblical leadership roles.  In 2007 our third boys regiment, the 34th Pathfinders, was added.  The younger boys were excited about becoming Rangers and so the Pathfinders were formed to prepare young boys for the discipleship of the Rangers.

In the summer of 2009 two new units designed especially for young girls were formed, the Molly Starks for girls in 3rd and 4th grade and the Jennie Wades for girls in the 5th and 6th grade.  The addition of the Mollys and Jennies gives the Granite Brigade a compliment of 5 regiments.
